Do I have to be in Nashville to participate?

Nope! We started in Nashville in 2016, but are quickly expanding across the country to Chicago, Denver, San Franciso & New York. If you’re local to Nashville, or in another city and are interested in participating, shoot us a note, and we can start a conversation about how we can work together.

How does the the candidate matching process work?

First, we’ll get to know your company, your culture, and all the specifics of what you think makes a kick-ass employee, whether it's an intern or a FTE. Then, we get to work: OhanaHealth is connected with over 200 colleges and universities, and recruits the top applicants from around the nation so you don’t have to. Candidates will complete a first round application, where we look for qualities and experiences that make up the secret sauce of an overall successful employee. We then pick the top applicants for a second round interview where we get to know them better. We’ll vet all the candidates for you, and give you the best 3 - 5. You’ll then get to interview those candidates, and let us know which is the best fit. From there, we take care of the rest of the details (including: extending offers, pre-program logistics, support with housing arrangements, etc.) to get your new intern or full time hire ready for their new position & experience.

Do I have to pay my intern?

Yes, OhanaHealth requires that you are able to pay your intern at least $10/hour (or at least minimum wage as per your state).

If I participate, am I guaranteed an intern or FTE?

We want to make sure you have the best quality hire for your company and culture. But, we know sometimes the shoe doesn’t quite fit as well as you hoped it would. So, if there’s not a candidate that is the best match for your hiring needs, you don't pay us a dime. Payment is only required upon successful placement into your company.

Do I have to pay to participate?

Yes. For internships, companies are responsible for a base program fee, and a per intern fee. For full time hires, companies are responsible for a per placement fee. Unlike recruiting agencies, if an intern we place with you is hired as a FTE, there is absolutely NO CONVERSION FEE paid to OhanaHealth. Schedule a call with us to find out more details!
